We admit, guest blogging is not for everybody, and it requires you to work and put in solid effort. There are many good blogs out there that accept guest posts based on the type of quality you offer them. Since you are new and your blog maybe is not highly ranked, you will need to work with smaller blogs at first. You can succeed with guest blogging, but it is not automatic riches or autopilot marketing until you become established.
When you just begin with guest posting, you will not be known and will not land the big blogs. All that means is you will have to contact the lower tier bloggers who are not huge in their niches, but give them the best you can. Just because they are small doesn’t mean you have to submit a less than average posts to them. Think of this as your guest blogging content portfolio, and you know how important that is to your business. This is all very basic thinking, and it is not hard to figure out or understand. Depending on the blog that you’re submitting your guest post to, include images. People like to look at pictures and such, and they can add a nice touch to a post. But, in the end they may not want to be bothered with formatting the post to include an image or two. On the other hand it may be welcomed, and that could play well in your favor. Anything you can do to gain a little edge here and there is great.
We do not think that you will be able to know what if any internal post links there should be. So yes of course the post can benefit from strong links, and that will be of usefulness. However, do not assume that there should be links, and you can look at other guest posts. Webmasters are pretty thorough about what it is they want, and they will tell you what they want, etc. Readers like to see these kinds of links so they can quickly click on them and read something else.
Guest blogging is still used by many even though it has existed since blogs first appeared. If you know what you are doing and accumulate experience, then you will find everything becomes a lot easier. By partnering with the right bloggers and publishing your posts on their blogs, you will build a brand and get more exposure.
Make sure your blog is ready for traffic and new faces and that everything is in place and looks good.
