When you use this method, you retain the moisture in your skin from your bath and you seal in more moisture with your cream or lotion. Summertime skin care is routine and habitual. We’ve adapted to having oily, damp skin in the hot months. Oily, moist skin isn’t the problem when the weather turns cold and dry, obviously. So, it stands to reason that the same products used to combat oily skin won’t be the best choice when you need to hydrate and moisturize your skin.
